Glass House with Pool Views

This project started with the homeowners presenting us with inspiration images to design and furnish their home. Many meetings and countless hours were spent creating this home. The final product is a stunning home in a serene setting. You enter the home through a large pivoting anodized metal door. The entry staircase was constructed with floating wood stairs, steel supports, and glass railings. A massive fireplace and soaring windows frame the two-story living room that opens to a fully equipped chef’s kitchen. Every bedroom has a specifically designed bathroom and closet that meets the occupant’s needs and design aesthetic. Specific areas to note are the powder bathroom on the main level. Floor to ceiling marble black marble walls make it a dramatic room that feels luxe. The principal bathroom continues the home’s neutral palette with soft caramel cabinetry and airy chandelier hovering over the bathtub for a spa like feel. Every piece of furniture and art throughout the home was carefully chosen to add texture and color. This large home has a lot of square feet but still feels intimate.

Glass House Game Room:
We joined this project during the blueprint stages and took what was originally drawn to be a divided space and turned it into a large multi-purpose game room where the family could gather on their own or with company. The room features a generous sofa with seven recliners to accommodate movie nights and lounging. Other areas of the space include a pool table, vintage pinball machine, dartboard, and game tables. These spaces can function separately for intimate gatherings or work together for mixing and mingling. Because the space is so large, a custom 20ft rug was designed to add softness and color. Motorized window shades were made to fit each window and blackout drapery panels were designed to turn the space into a movie theater during the day. The room is highlighted by an impressive collection of locally sourced art.
