Our clients, soon to move to Virginia from New England, want their new home in Reston to feel open, airy, and fresh, while also reflecting their appreciation for a transitional-traditional design style. Warm rust and brown tones in the hardwood flooring, copper sink, and oil-rubbed bronze hardware are balanced by soothing greige and blue-gray tones in the cabinetry and appliances. Architectural details like crown molding, cabinet door beveled panels and carved island legs add elegance to the design.

The enlarged, brighter kitchen has really “wowed” the clients, who have been monitoring the renovation process via video while still living in the Boston area. They are very impressed with how we tackled the design process from afar and created a kitchen they can’t wait to love in-person!
