Red Bark Transitional Home Remodel in Sterling
Our client had been dreaming of a home remodel for a long time. They were ready for a kitchen remodel, but also knew it was time to do something about the unfinished basement. As in many homes, it had become nothing more than a storage area and was a waste of valuable square footage. So, with a ‘can-do’ attitude, they set about the task of decluttering in preparation for the remodel which would see their basement go from storage zone to a multi-purpose family-friendly recreation room, office/guest bedroom, guest bathroom and even enough room for discreetly hidden HVAC and storage space.
The kitchen also underwent a complete transformation. Gone is the old white kitchen and half wall/railing dividing it from the family room; it's replaced with a transitional gem with darker wood cabinetry, new appliances, beautiful new flooring and a gorgeous extended island with seating for informal dining.
Although the COVID-19 pandemic began just before construction started, the timing for this home remodel turned out to be perfect. Trusting us to complete their home remodel safely, they knew it was now a “must have” to proceed with the remodel given the extended periods of time spent at home during lockdown with virtual schooling and working from home now a necessity. The family is now ready to kick back, relax and spend quality time together in their lovely new spaces!
