Let there be Light...and Gray and White!

We really enjoyed designing this first floor playroom, which is off the kitchen. We geared the activities in this room towards the younger children so an adult could keep an eye on them when they are playing. With a toddler in tow, we knew we had to have some closed cabinets to keep the games and puzzles safe from curious little hands and minds! We included a table that can be used for art, games and puzzles. We also created a beautiful and cozy reading area for all of the children. In order to encourage children to read, it is important to display the books in forward facing book shelves. The modern gray and white palette creates a soothing environment so the children can focus on creativity and learning.
