When we first saw this room. the legos had taken over! There were legos everywhere! On the floor, all over the tables and on the shelves. At Smart Playrooms, we design Smart LEGO SYSTEMS that work in any space! In addition to a Lego System, we added a Smart ART SYSTEM and HOMEWORK SYSTEM! As educators, we understand that if we set up a well organized and thoughtful system, the children will be able to find, create and clean up independently. We are big believers in celebrating the children's finished work, whether it be legos, artwork or a project from school so we got right to work designing a SMART LAYOUT that would incorporate drawing and writing, homework, and legos. We custom designed the beautiful modern parson's style art table and added a caddy! Then we reorganized all of the legos and designed a lego wall, an area for lego display and a table for lego works in process. Lastly, we created a functional homework area, complete with magnetic board for organizing long term assignments and school reminders. This room will surely keep the t'weens off of their iPhones for a while...at least a short while!
