Our clients came to us because they wanted to integrate their large traveled art collection into their small space. They also wanted to maximize the use of their 890 sq. ft. space by utilizing multi-functional furniture to create a bright open concept space. We started by replacing the carpeted flooring with light hardwood to make the space feel brighter. In addition, we selected furniture pieces with clean lines, light finishes, and scaled to fit the space. We wanted the to furniture to be functional, durable, and comfortable. Ultimately we wanted to use the furniture to create a neutral canvas to highlight the art collection, not take away from it. The condo has large windows on almost every wall, which is great for light, but limits wall space for art. Our solution was to curate their art collection, and integrate it into the living and office space by grouping the pieces into striking gallery walls. We love the playfulness of the space and our clients were thrilled with the final results because they were able to reflect their personalitiies and integrate in travel memories into their condo making it a happy home.
