A small but bustling new location for the ever so loved Rain or Shine ice cream meant a need for maximum visual impact, but also high functionality due to its limited 460 square feet. This location is situated in a brand new building on the University of British Columbia campus and required the material selection criteria to be durable yet eye catching. The wood walls were selected for durability as the client knew this would be a busy location. Colour and visible cues played a large role in the design process as well, and allowed for a space that would make a big impact.
