One of the homeowners had lived in this space for a number of years, so when the couple decided to move in together, they chose to stay in this existing space and bring us in to customize it to fit their needs. With 1,450 square feet to work with, a main goal was to create a large walk-in closet, rather than the existing standard condo wardrobe. This required the removal of what was previously a den. By doing so, it created a new access point to the second bedroom, now known as the man-cave. Overall, they wanted a complete update for the space, which meant new tile floors throughout and a new fireplace and fireplace configuration. The design also involved full height storage in the dining area and the addition of a feature bar space. The large ensuite bathroom had an underutilized bathtub and was in need of more storage. By replacing the bathtub with a large shower we were able to do so, as well as create a much more usable space for the client.
