The owners of this house have traveled extensively in Asia. As a result, this modern home design remodel by Neumann, Mendro, Andrulaitis Architects, has an Asian influence. The exterior has been finished with a standing seam metal roof, new aluminum clad windows and doors, and cedar shingle siding. The shape of the extended ridge beams, an Ipe entry gate, and chain downspouts at each corner of the house contribute to the exterior’s Asian aesthetic. The remodeled interior features new, engineered wood floors, tongue-and-groove ceiling, updated bathrooms, and kitchen. Built-in cabinetry with a bamboo veneer, add even more Asian influence to the interior design.
