The goal of this whole house remodel was to upgrade and update this three bedroom, three bath oceanfront home. Years of inundation by coastal tides and periodic flooding from the adjacent creek had caused significant wear and tear on the original structure, including corrosion of the electrical and plumbing infrastructure that was previously located below the house. Surprisingly, the original home had few windows. The remodel opened the interior of the home to create a grand room with stunning ocean and creek views, thanks to new floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors. A large fiber cement deck – perfect for entertaining or watching sunsets - has been built to last, along with stainless steel cable handrail system, light fixtures, gates, downspouts and even hose bibs (which were extremely difficult to find).
