Normandy Park Whole House

The homeowners had water damage in their entry, kitchen, laundry, dining and living room. This was their opportunity to put in new floors, redo their kitchen and have a proper mudroom/laundry and powder room. After discussion with NK Seattle Designer Jamie Smugeresky, they also decided to add their kids' bathroom to the scope. Durability and cleanability combined with style was very important to these clients because of their active kids and social life.

The new mudroom/laundry room has storage for coats, hats, bags, and shoes, with a bench and baskets on the shelf above. New side-by-side washer and dryer with a convenient countertop for folding. Upper cabinets for detergent storage, and a rod installed at ceiling height for hanging garments to dry.
