Vashon Island Kitchen
The design mission for this Vashon Island home was to update the feel and functionality of the space, while adding a subtle Asian influence.
The home had gorgeous architecture with an old 1980s oak kitchen. The remodel included the kitchen, dining and a partial living room, plus cosmetic updates to the fireplace surround. The wall between the kitchen and dining room was removed to expose the view and enlarge the space, as well as add more natural light. An old garden window was removed and a a tall contemporary replacement window near the appliance wall two skylights were added to brighten the space even more.
