Seattle Prompted by a lingering water leak that called for a lasting solution, this bathroom remodel became an opportunity to thoughtfully refresh the space while introducing a refined sense of color. The client envisioned a design that felt vibrant yet restrained, leading to a carefully balanced palette and layered details. One of the project’s key challenges: a smaller bathtub within the existing footprint was transformed into a defining feature through a custom-built tub frame that restored proportion and intention to the layout. Extra-deep six-inch niches were seamlessly integrated for both function and visual depth, while extending the shower tile across the face of the frame created a cohesive, architectural finish. Anchored by rich cherry wood cabinetry, sculptural wall sconces, and striking shower tile, the result is a bathroom that feels elevated, purposeful, and quietly luxurious.
