Alexandria Small Charming Kitchen

This kitchen is in a World War II era development by the Army Corps of Engineers. Close by the Pentagon, these apartments and now condominiums were built to provide housing for the thousands of new workers streaming into the Washington DC area in the WWII years. They are now desirable due to the excellent close in location but are difficult to work in. The walls are plaster and concrete so no wires or pipes can be hidden within the walls. We built a false wall out 2" from the original wall to hide the water supplies and the gas line. We did run a drain lines through the wall to accommodate the new washer and dryer. Improved lighting, improved storage, great charming finishes.
