Mesa AZ Downstairs Bath

This main floor bathroom acts as the powder room for the downstairs. The clients never did like that the door to the bathroom opened straight in to the dining room. We moved the entrance in to the adjoining office and updated all of the materials.

The frame is built around a Robern medicine cabinet set into the old framing space for the original door. Rich granite and cherry cabinets, Grohe faucet.

In this space we needed to replace the saltillo tile and used cream marfil marble, same on the shower walls. The toilet is in almond from Kohler to blend with the marble. The plumbing is from Grohe.

The client and his wife were never happy that the door to the downstairs bath opened right in to the dining room. This blank wall if where the doorway had been; the door to the right leads in to the kitchen.

This is the new entrance from the adjoining office. We reused the same door. Note the built in storage to the left of the doorway; the light switch is mounted in the thick shelf.
