Alexandria Transitional Master Bath

We improved the efficiency, lighting, and all general finishes for this condominium/townhouse bathroom. Adding a tall storage cabinet, a built in hamper, a four drawer base cabinet and a pocket door enhanced the functionality greatly. We found the fabulous "Wasabi" granite for the vanity top to tie in the glass mosaic tile in the shower which the client loved.

Here we can really see the great "Wasabi" granite countertop. Note that we used a coordinating finish from Lutron for the outlet covers. The faucets are from Hansgrohe. With the redesign we added a very useful four drawer base with full extension glide drawers.

Stock thermofoil, standard overlay doors on this vanity. Typical builder cabinet with no drawers; drawer base cabinets are too expensive so are not used. Cultured marble top, cheap faucets, broadway light fixture.

We helped the client get rid of her clutter by working a tall storage cabinet into the design; note the built in accessible, hamper. By putting in a pocket door we eliminated the door swing into the vanity.
