Wash, DC White Condominium Bath

A faded bathroom in an older condominium building near the National Cathedral. Lots of clean subway tile pulled the space together and gave it a traditional, safe feel. The touches with the black Nero Marquena marble gave nice frame to the space. The new recessed medicine cabinet, the banjo marble top, and the custom glass enclosure all expanded the functionality of the space.

Clean, white bathroom with rich marble chair rail and pencil rail. We echoed the black chair rail with an inset of matching marble around the edge of the floor. Carrara marble counter top and flooring. New efficient heater.

The shower for the client, a single woman. gave her a "floating" shower seat to rest her foot to shave her legs with the hand held shower. The clean subway tile surrounds the space with a traditional, comforting feel. Note the square drain set into the rectangular mosaic tile.

Ill fitting, non recessed medicine cabinet, laminate counter top, broadway lighting fixture. You can see the reflexion of the door to the bath; it swings into the tub/shower area.
