Our job was to smooth out all of the lumps in the design created by the builder. We flattened the refrigerator and installed very accessible frameless, custom cabinets. The client now has two operating lazy susans, a pull out trash base cabinet, a pull out pantry, and a four drawer base. We worked two different granite finishes into the scheme. The cloudy yellow stone worked great on the bar area visible from the living room with a bit softer look than the black granite on the rest of the kitchen. We pulled the rust colors in the bar top back through the kitchen with the accent line in the back splash. We used quality plug molds up under the cabinets to reduce the disruption of the back splash design. The use of the smaller 18" wide dishwasher allowed us to fit better , more accessible storage on the long wall.
