This is a spectacular North Boulder total kitchen remodel and strategic addition.
Setback zoning limited how far an extension could protrude to the side of this late 60's home and an oddly placed pantry closet in the center of the old kitchen screened it from the family-sitting room. In order to open up and enlarge the facility, the pantry was removed and we pushed out the side to replace it. A sitting bay was also popped out to the side. These adjustments enlarged the central preparation, cooking and storage areas to allow for the new double island remodel.
