The series of conical forms that cap the roof of this Longmont Colorado home allow it to reach out into the landscape in several directions. A multiplicity of communicating and connecting spaces is therefore achieved in the floor plan. This allows for a simplicity of movement and ease of access to all areas of the home which is totally handicapped accessible.
The inviting entrance between two octagonal forms gives way to a wide rotunda and spiral stair under the largest cone. This vertical access is augmented by the adjacent elevator.
