A pop-top addition creating code approved living space from an unusable attic. City ordained restrictions and a testy neighbor challenged standard practice and a normal design approach every step of the way! Many design iterations were required before our client was able to prevail; but the resulting massing, affords views, sunlight and plenty of room to live the "Boulder lifestyle" without disruption to any neighbors.
