Many of the rooms or spaces are based upon octagonal or partly octagonal floor planning. The entry Foyer itself is a perfect octagon allowing access to many of the main level rooms as well as spaces, balconies, and stairs leading to above and below. This approach allowed the house to become open, vertical, yet interior focused and enhanced both privacy and connectivity.
