This half-timbered traditional home in Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado, features an internal auto-court for privacy and additional day-lighting opportunities. The design ideas are taken from fond memories of the home in northern New Jersey where I grew up with a few added embellishments such as turreted entry and Romeo & Juliet balcony. Although budgetary constraints dictated the employment of more some less expensive materials, the building holds together as a 'Spec house" rather well and sold fast.
