Cabin Exterior Makeover
The homeowner recently added a new timber frame front porch and entry on the left end of the house. She wanted to address the rest of the front by enclosing the two screen porches on the right end of the house and creating more curb appeal.
The second floor porch became a 3-season room off the master bedroom with French doors opening to a Juliet balcony. The downstairs porch became an office (and possible future closet) off the guest bedroom. A storage area with sliding barn doors was built on the deck connected to the downstairs office by a metal roof.
Timber frame awnings were added above the lower windows on the front to give more curb appeal.
