Our clients own a beautiful piece of property in the woods in Young Harris, GA, where an old cabin presently stands. They first wanted to expand the cabin to have 4 bedrooms and baths for their whole family on holiday visits, but the poor condition of the cabin made it impractical. We then designed a new modern farmhouse cottage with all the features and space they desired. The ample windows in the kitchen and living area were designed to maximize the view of a private pond on the property.
