The clients own a small Craftsman style home on the banks of Lake Chatuge. They had a desire to incorporate their existing screen porch into their great room while building a new covered deck extension. The addition created a wonderful new dining and seating area inside the house and an inviting outside deck that faces the lake. Beneath the deck, the clients were able to re-purpose the husband's father's handcrafted boat into a fun hanging light fixture.
