Centennial Kitchen Remodel

Open Concept and coffee. Those were the priorities for this kitchen remodel. Growing up in Seattle, I knew about coffee, and I appreciated those individuals who take great pride in their dedication to the process of brewing coffee, so when I met these fun and energetic homeowners, I knew we would be a great fit working together. They were willing to take chances, and wanted to incorporate their personal style into their kitchen remodel. Our goal was to open the compartmentalized floor plan, to allow the kitchen to flow into the living room, and maximize functional storage space with dedicated work zones. We removed the small dining room space, to expand the kitchen and create a six person island for entertaining. The unused lower room with a fireplace was recreated into the formal dining room. We designed a separate coffee bar, for all the many gadgets and gizmos necessary for delicious coffee creations, which included a separate prep sink and coffee cup storage. This kitchen is now an open and airy space, perfect for morning brunches with hot coffee, or evening entertaining with friends.
