This project transforms an already nice bonus room into a true great room with a wet bar and fireplace.

The renovation includes a custom masonry fireplace with a gas insert. The mantel is cast stone and the fireplace is lined with honed slate tiles in a herringbone pattern. The fireplace chimney was constructed with brick and topped with a clay chimney pot. The bar has a lighted wall cabinet, small prep sink, refrigerator, and a marble top. The new flooring is engineered wood. The room is finished off with a large, hanging rustic lantern.

Phase two of this project, anticipated for next year, will include installing a rear patio door leading to a new patio and outdoor living space. Also, the closet door will be replaced with a decorative glass door and the walk-in closet will be finished as a wine closet.
