If it is difficult to move and function in your kitchen, we believe it is time for an upgrade. This kitchen had a large kitchen table that was hard to maneuver around along with a raised island that created a barrier to the eating area and adjoining family room. We solved the division by installing an island closer to the work area and extended into the eating area. An angled "built-in" table solved the maneuverability issue by creating more flow throughout the kitchen. The abstract back-splash complimented the angled cabinetry and gave it that contemporary flare. The new design allowed the homeowners to take full advantage of their deck and pool view along with doubling in size and making sure their house was the one all the neighbors wanted to go to!
