Mourning Dove Kitchen
It may be tough to make changes sometimes, however it may also be necessary. This project featured an outdated kitchen that was in need for an upgrade. The homeowner had been living there for 20 years and felt like it was time for a big change! The existing layout was tight and the cabinetry looked cheap and outdated. We decided to completely open up the wall between the kitchen and family room. This created a space that felt double in size and eliminated the feeling of being "crammed". We installed a large island along with continuous one-level counter space that allowed the client to feel worry free about storage and organization. The open floor plan and integral relationship between the kitchen and family room, eliminated any restrictions the area offered before. The only regret form the homeowners were they didn't do it sooner!
