Creating a large space and opening up the kitchen was the main objective of this project. The client wanted a "farmhouse" style kitchen that would feature a massive island as the focal point of the new kitchen, along with feeling engaged with the rest of the house while entertaining. Removing the wall that separated the hallway and kitchen allowed the client to have their dream island they so desired. Relocating the laundry room into the old kitchen allowed for easier flow throughout the space, along with not feeling "crammed". The new layout ensured that they will be the house to host future parties!
