This project featured a family that has lived in the house for 16 years. They decided this was the house they wanted to stay in and came to the conclusion of doing a big remodel. The main goal was to increase space along with improving the functionality of the house. We decided to relocate the laundry room to the second floor, which allowed us to expand the kitchen. The kitchen consisted of two islands, two sinks, and a massive sun-filled eating area. The new covered porch addition created a smooth transition from the inside living area to the outside pool area. On the second floor we improved and expanded the master bathroom. The master bathroom was literally falling apart! We relocated the tub and created a frame-less walk-in shower along with a private commode room and generous linen storage. The new added space and layout gave the old house a new fresh look!
