High Gloss White Cabinets with Bright Yellow Backsplash
http://denisequade.com
This modern kitchen blends perfectly with the sleek modern lines of this new build home. The high gloss white painted cabinets paired with the flat door style create the perfect backdrop for the bright yellow Ann Sacks tile that is on the backsplash. Placing the wall cabinets to the top of the soffit and integrating floating shelves below provide a great spot for frequently used cooking tools. The mitered oak bar top with waterfall ends provides texture to warm up the space to help prevent it from reading too cool. The pantry on the left of the range wall mimics the paneled refrigerator on the right. A gas cooktop over the electric oven gives the homeowners the best of both worlds and provides a less interrupted look than a free standing range would have. With the exception of the refrigerator all of the appliances are stainless. The sink, dishwasher, and microwave drawer are all in the island which provides a great work space for the cook while the family hangs out in the adjoining living room. The back of the island is paneled in a laminate for durability.
