Bamboo flat panel cabinets in a medium stain was selected for this modern open floor plan kitchen. A combination of quartz and granite countertops was used to differentiate the space a little bit; quartz is used on the perimeter and backsplash, while granite is used on the island. The granite slab determined the size of the island. Four kitchen height bar stools were incorporated at the end and back of the island with additional storage added facing the living room. A paneled subzero refrigerator anchors one side of the space and windows on two sides allows plentiful light to come in. Stainless steel dishwasher and microwave drawer pair well with a gas cooktop and chimney hood. Tile was used on the floors throughout the home.
