An '80s Home Redux

Our clients were looking to reduce the chaos created by unneeded hallways and a lack of sight lines through the home. The floor plan also made natural light scarce while carpeting and dark finishes soaked up the rest. The home was ready to enter the 2010’s with a more open floor plan and an emphasis on comfort and sustainability.

Meadowlark’s designs not only encompassed a total change in functionality and flow in the home, but also took into account changes to make this a “deep-green” remodel – highly insulated with geothermal heating and cooling and efficient home systems. The result is a total transformation in comfort, function and aesthetics of the home.

This remodel was designed and built by Meadowlark Design+Build in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
