Keeping the Character in a Sears Kit Home

Redefining existing spaces with an impeccable design touch has transformed both the form and function of this Sears Kit Home. Originally built in 1940 and added onto in 1991, this craftsman-style home was long overdue for some TLC. Having purchased the home in 1992, our clients were adamant about keeping the spaces true to their original form and aesthetic. Our designers came up with small layout changes that were big on functionality. Cabinetry, selections and finishes were all carefully thought out to maintain the charm of this craftsman-style home. The result of this two-phase project is more storage, better function and comfort, and beautiful vignettes that will allow our clients to take on their next 30 years in the home.
