Bursting Bungalow

Originally built in 1924, this Arts and Crafts bungalow had loads of character but was long overdue for an interior update. A tired but well-loved kitchen was no longer accommodating the two cooks in the house, so the clients looked to Meadowlark Design+Build to help. With a good understanding of the home from a previous Meadowlark project, our designers were able to devise a layout that better utilized the existing space. The new plan creates more counter and storage space, and opens up the kitchen and landing area to allow for more natural light. The result was a transformation of a tiny kitchen that feels and lives much larger than it's 107 square feet!
