Bathroom Remodel with Custom Upgrades - 2016
CLIENT’S REASON TO REMODEL //
After visiting a bathroom remodel project that we featured in the 2015 Tour of Remodeled Homes Show, the homeowner contacted us to remodel her bathroom. The bathroom was cramped and she wanted to freshen it up. Though a previous homeowner had remodeled the space, it did not work well for our client’s lifestyle; in fact many of the functional and layout decisions didn’t make any sense to her.
SOLUTION //
As we collaborated with the homeowner on floor plan concepts, we developed several ideas that worked for her, but she started to contemplate the value of a very small and somewhat awkward spare bedroom that was adjacent to the bathroom. We agreed to also propose options that included the bedroom space. After estimating costs for both concepts the homeowner decided to give up the bedroom in favor of a larger bath and laundry. The result was this gorgeous new bathroom with custom cabinetry and quartz countertops. It has built-in shelving alongside the custom tile shower. The homeowner admits the additional space she now has for her laundry area was a bonus and one of her favor ite things about the finished project.
