Lighted Porch with Outdoor Kitchen

These homeowners had talked to designers, they had talked to contractors - in the end the conversation was that the roof lines could not work. We looked at the project and a designer's plans and determined that it could work. After revising the plans to better suite the homeowner's needs and helping them with the product selections, the project was
ready to begin.

We started in late fall and worked through winter by pre-finishing most of the trim. After a short delay through weather that did not allow the patio to be installed, we promptly installed the finishing touches, so that the homeowners were able to
take advantage of the first spring days.

The result is a stunning outdoor retreat that can be enjoyed throughout much of the year! There is a massive exposed wood roof to keep the rain away as well as shade from summer sun, as well as a fireplace to take off the chill of early spring and late fall. The homeowner, a culinary instructor, is also able to show off her talents with a state of the art grilling center, which includes a traditional gas grill, kamado style grill for smoking, baking and grilling, and a searing grill for the intense heat to
seal in the juices and put those delicious grill marks on the perfect steak!

The use of stained natural wood, natural stone on the patio, posts and fireplace, as well as careful attention to lighting make the space enjoyable night or day.
