This whole house remodel was Kaufman Construction's first, starting as a contemporary 1970's house with vaulted ceilings, a spiral staircase, and a standard exterior. Through design and construction, it became something so completely different that you cannot imagine it is the same place. Complete renovation of the existing structure, more than one addition and a new roof line turned this into a prairie-style dream home. A large number of custom built-ins and pieces of furniture were built to complete the new space.
