The client's wanted a light and airy feel that would warm up her family room and kitchen windows. The rooms were filled with furniture from Arhaus and Restoration Hardware, creating a casual industrial feel.

In the family room we dressed the arch windows with linen like, unlined slouched drapes following the line of the ceiling. It warms the space without giving a heavy feel. Rustic wood medallions were selected for the drapery hardware, as they complemented the window casings and fireplace mantel beautifully.

In the kitchen we did mock roman shades in a darker linen fabric. The shades are embellished with a classic banding detail across the bottom of the shade. To create height and keep the gorgeous view visible, the shades are installed 12" above window frame.

The result was a simplistically elegant design.
