Boy's bedroom and bath redo
This boy's room was such a fun project and done on a great budget.
For the bed, I fabricated a suede/wood headboard and added IKEA reading lights into the design. I trimmed out the room with a 1 x4 piece of wood that was first painted with magnetic paint and then navy paint on top-no more poster pin holes! I created a huge memo board with a sheet of 4 x 8 plywood and a cork flooring overlay. When I got to the closet, I decided to knock it out and replace with a built in system. This created a more spacious feeling in this small bedroom. To maximize ever corner, we put some IKEA shelves in the small space.
