The owners of this new modern home in Washington Park wanted a simple window covering that gave them the ability to put it up completely, allow view through with some privacy during the day, and complete privacy at night. The modern solution was Comfortex Layered Shades. To continue the modern feel on the slider, we did a panel track system in a similar fabric.

In the bedrooms, the client wanted the room darkening effect. However, the layered shade in a room darkening fabric would only give room dimming properties. Since we had a 5" window depth, we were able to put a 3/8" blackout rechargeable shade in the back and the layered shade in front. Now the client can leave the layered shades down, push a button, and have all 7 motorized blackout shades drop down in the back.. The client loves the way everything turned out!
