Sometimes you run into jobs where the windows aren't symmetrical or the windows were hung lower than one would like. This is where draperies lined with a blackout lining, can be used to create an illusion or symmetry or create more height to a space.

This was the case on this job in the family and dining room. In the family room the drapes covered more of the glass on the left side. On the dining room the drapes were hung 6" from the ceiling to create a vertical line that makes the window look taller. These are just a few of the "magic" tricks you can use on drapes.
