This client wanted a drapery system that would be beautiful, create complete room darkening, and help with the street noise. The solution was to do blackout, interlined, angled drapes on the arch and straight drapes on the side window. To help reduce light gap from the sides and top, I fabricated the drapes with a straight top, a 7" overlap in center, and we reduced the projection of the medallions to 2.5" depth. Now the homeowner will never know when the sun comes up in the morning!
