Our firm was retained to renovate an existing 2600 s.f. 1950's home and turn it into a modern open plan. We enlarged the original house 1,500 s.f. by adding a new master bedroom and bathroom and extending a guest bedroom, hallway bathroom and adding a guest bathroom and laundry room. The house was updated with all new electrical, air conditioning, plumbing, insulation, standing seam metal roof and an painted epoxy flooring throughout. The owner wished to raise the existing 8' ceiling to 10' in the living area. This was accomplished by removing a portion of the existing roof and installing a new 35' long steel beam.
