The owner liked the lay out of the kitchen but it was in desperate need of an update. The family also had no eating area so we removed the sliding doors to the exterior and added on the curved front breakfast room. The shape and style fit in with the modern design of the existing house. We removed the dropped lighting soffit over the sink and extended the custom cabinets up to the ceiling for additional storage space. We added under cabinet lighting as well as new ceiling lighting. The cabinets are a whitewashed white oak. The owner wished to retain some of the appliances which were included in the final layout.
