The owner requested us to design a new open kitchen/living room area by removing the closet that held the water heater, air conditioning unit and washer and dryer. We relocated the air conditioner and washer and dryer and installed a new tankless gas water heater. The retrofit the underground plumbing waste lines to accommodate a new island and open up the complete space. New ceiling insulation, LED lighting and floor and wall finishes were incorporated.
