Our client wanted to bring the home back to a sense of calm (previous owners had a maximalist approach to interior design). The client wanted an entirely new kitchen. They wanted to use some of their previous furnishings & incorporate new complimentary pieces. All the en suite guest bathrooms were gutted and refinished. The powder room as well as the laundry room & mudroom were gutted & remodeled. The entire interior including all existing & new millwork needed to be refinished & painted. This portion of the project alone took 7 months. We removed carpeting and added hardwood flooring that we needed to weave & match existing flooring. We installed French doors in specific areas of the house to visually separate spaces & coincide with heating & HVAC zones. We reupholstered existing furniture pieces and added new pieces to the mix as well as replaced all lighting.
