1920's Just Right Sized

This modest two story stucco and brick home, dating from the 1920's, was expanded to provide a larger kitchen and added a large family room, mudroom, butlers pantry and powder room on the first floor, and a master bedroom suite above. The addition was done sympathetically by cloning the massing of the house.

The interior work blends seamlessly with the scale and detailing of the existing space.

The wet bar is the transition between the existing, 1922 home and the new addition. It is located between the dining room and the family room/kitchen.

The dining room is in the existing, 1922 building. The new arched opening leads to a hall with the new powder room on one side and the wet bar on the other. The arch matches the original arch, seen in the foreground.
